Systems of Romance

Been a second since I’ve posted something more electronic. With that in mind, here’s a rare one-off 12” released in 1984 via Martyr Records. Not much to be said about this NYC-based project, except that we know this record was produced by Steven Wymore, a member of art punk band Pink Section who also played bass on a Minimal Man LP and produced the incredible Actuel album from the same year…

As for the sounds here, fans of Yello, Art of Noise, and some of the more experimental Colourbox material should find much to love here. The record is an excellent hybrid of experimental electronics, club beats, and quirky new wave vibes. Enjoy!
